Dynamic Voltage Restorer(DVR)

The voltage sag is a phenomenon in which the effective value of the load voltage drops to 10% to 90% of the rated value and the duration is 0.5 cycles to 1 minute. The short-term voltage interruption is a case where the effective value of the load voltage is less than 10% and the duration is less than 1 minute. With the rapid development of China's economy, the power load structure has changed, and the load sensitive to voltage sag and short-term voltage interruption is increasing.

Brief Introduction

The Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR) is an ideal device to solve the problem of voltage dips and short interruptions. The core of the Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR) is an converter that uses a modular structure with turn-off device IGBT as the core. The 10kV DVR adopts the H-bridge cascade structure and uses PWM phase shifting control technology to greatly reduce the harmonic content of the output waveform. The 380V Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR) uses a single power module structure and is compact.

PRINCIPLE

A dynamic voltage restorer (DVR) is a controllable voltage source connected in series between a power supply and a sensitive load. When the system voltage is normal, the DVR output voltage is zero; when the system voltage sags, the DVR outputs the compensation voltage to ensure that the power supply of the sensitive load is normal.
