The voltage sag is a phenomenon in which the effective value of the load voltage drops to 10% to 90% of the rated value and the duration is 0.5 cycles to 1 minute. The short-term voltage interruption is a case where the effective value of the load voltage is less than 10% and the duration is less than 1 minute. With the rapid development of China's economy, the power load structure has changed, and the load sensitive to voltage sag and short-term voltage interruption is increasing. Solid state transfer switch (SSTS) can effectively solve such problems.


PRINCIPLE

For a power supply system with two relatively independent power supplies (one use and the other standby), when the power supply in progress is abnormal (voltage sag or interruption), the solid state transfer switch (SSTS) will quickly switch the load (switching time 5 ms) to Another normal power supply, ensures that sensitive loads are not affected by voltage dips or interruptions. The switching unit of the high-voltage solid-state transfer switch (SSTS) is composed of a patented fast mechanical switch and a thyristor valve in parallel. By Using the function of shunting and clamping of the valve body in the progrss of opneing and closing  of the fast switching, realize quick open and close of the the quick switch. Complete fast switching from a abnormal voltage line to a normal line. The low voltage solid state transfer switch (SSTS) switching unit uses a thyristor valve directly.

DEVICE COMPOSITION
The switching unit of the high-voltage solid-state switching switch (SSTS) is composed of a patented fast mechanical switch and a thyristor valve in parallel. The valve body is shunted and clamped during the fast switching opening and closing process, so that the quick switch can be quickly opened and closed. Fast switching from a voltage abnormal line to a normal line is completed.
The low voltage solid state switch (SSTS) switching unit uses a thyristor valve directly.
